We are seeking a licensed Master/Supervising Electrician to oversee electrical operations for commercial and residential visual display projects across New York and New Jersey. This individual will serve as the qualifying license holder for multiple jurisdictions, ensuring that all installations meet NEC, state, and local code requirements. The Supervising Electrician will lead project teams, provide technical expertise, and ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient visual display installations.
What you’ll do:
Act as the Supervising/Master Electrician of record for visual display projects in NY and NJ
Provide technical leadership for the installation of visual displays
Supervise, mentor, and train electricians and apprentices on visual displays and necessary electrical systems
Ensure compliance with NEC, state, and local codes, as well as OSHA and company safety standards
Review, approve, and file electrical permits if necessary
Oversee electrical aspects of project schedules, quality control, and troubleshooting
Maintain active Master/Supervising Electrician licenses in multiple jurisdictions
Collaborate with building managers and our in-house project managers for interconnection and approval processes
Conduct inspections and testing to ensure system performance and safety standards are met
Stay updated on our technology, electrical code changes, and best practices
Who you are:
Active Master/Supervising Electrician License(s) in New York and New Jersey (multiple jurisdictions preferred)
Minimum 6+ years of electrical experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
Direct experience with digital display installation
Strong understanding of NEC, state, and local electrical codes
Experience coordinating with project managers and building managers (Commercial/Residential) for interconnection processes
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
The pay range for this position is $70,000-$90,000 + bonus; however, the base pay may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
