About TOTYM TOTYM is a growing DTC brand blending mythology-inspired plush toys and a collectible trading card game. The brand combines original IP, lore, physical products, community, and competitive play. This is not a typical ecommerce business. Context, consistency, and execution matter.
About the Role We are looking for an embedded Marketing Operations Manager who will own day-to-day marketing execution across channels. This is not a task-based VA role. You will work closely with the founder, turning strategy into shipped campaigns, partnerships, ads, and outreach. This role functions as a long-term, embedded team member rather than a short-term contractor.
You will manage multiple marketing streams at once and help keep everything moving forward. As the brand grows, this role has the opportunity to take on broader ownership and responsibility across marketing initiatives.
What You Will Own Paid advertising
Meta ads (primary, immediate focus) Expansion into YouTube, Reddit, or other platforms over time Campaign setup, strategy development, iteration, and reporting, in close collaboration with the founder
Game store (B2B) outreach & coordination
Outreach to local game stores Organizing and coordinating tournament opportunities Following up, scheduling calls, and maintaining relationships
Email marketing (B2C + B2B)
Newsletters, announcements, campaigns Segmentation between consumers and retailers Light performance tracking
Creator & influencer outreach
Managing affiliate relationships Outreach and follow-ups Organizing campaigns and tracking participation
Social media execution
Scheduling and posting content Maintaining cadence across platforms Light engagement and replies (secondary)
SEO for Shopify + AI discovery
SEO improvements for ecommerce Optimization for discovery via AI tools and LLMs Research and implementation of best practices
Marketing tools & systems research
Evaluating CRM, email, outreach, and marketing tools Making recommendations and assisting with setup
General marketing execution & ideation
Supporting new initiatives Helping test ideas quickly Keeping momentum across channels

What We re Looking For
Experience as a marketing generalist or operator Comfortable managing multiple channels at once Hands-on experience running Meta ad campaigns (this is a primary responsibility of the role) Strong written and spoken English Organized, proactive, and resilient Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration Not instruction-dependent
Working Model
