Full Job Description

As a Manager, Sales Development at Vanta, you will play a key role in scaling and optimizing our EMEA Sales Development Team. The Sales Development Team is the first point of contact with prospective Vanta customers. You will partner with Account Executives to target and creatively prospect into our ideal customer profile. Leading by example you’ll be a champion of our Principles and foster a collaborative, transparent, inclusive sales environment.

This role will be based from our London office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What you’ll do as a Manager, Sales Development - International at Vanta:

  • Oversee the recruitment, mentoring, and development of a team of a SDRs which includes hiring and training new members

  • Identify opportunities and develop strategies to improve process, efficiency, and productivity across the SDR organization.

  • Build and Implement a data driven Outbound strategy

  • Foster an environment of high performance & accountability

  • Consistently deliver against sales pipeline and headcount targets

  • Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline and qualified opportunity targets

  • Develop sales, product and industry skills of each team member

  • Motivate team members through creative incentives

  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency and Productivity

  • Lead by example and champion our Principles while fostering a collaborative, transparent, inclusive sales environment.

How to be successful in this role:

  • Experience building and managing a high performing Outbound SaaS sales teams (Upmarket experience is a plus)

  • Consistent track record of 100% team attainment as a front line leader

  • Proven track record of scaling teams & selling complex solutions

  • Proven track record and experience in increasing efficiency and productivity across a growing sales org.

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to coach SDRs

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with startup experience

  • You are within a commutable distance from the London office and willing to be in office 3 days per week
