Full Job Description
Job PurposeWe are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering Stores team. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively planning, preparing, and scheduling maintenance activities to support equipment reliability, maximize plant availability, and reduce unplanned downtime. You will work closely with the Maintenance, Production, Procurement, and Spare Parts teams to ensure maintenance activities are prioritized, properly resourced, and executed safely and on time.Responsibilities:Plans, prepares, and schedules maintenance work orders to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and in full (OTIF).Reviews and prioritizes maintenance work requests based on risk, equipment criticality, and reliability.Prepares work orders by defining the required scope, tasks, resources, materials, and tools.Schedules maintenance activities considering equipment criticality, planned downtime windows, and availability of parts and services.Coordinates with the Spare Parts Coordinator, Storekeeper, Procurement, and Maintenance Execution teams to ensure required materials and tools are available.Manages maintenance task lists and ensures required materials are requested in line with inventory and supply processes.Ensures accurate and timely registration and management of maintenance information within the CMMS.Supports preventive maintenance planning and contributes to the preparation of maintenance budgets.Supports TPM and continuous improvement activities to improve maintenance effectiveness, reliability, and plant availability.Works closely with maintenance stakeholders to improve planning efficiency, reduce downtime, and support reliable execution of maintenance activities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.Knowledge & Experience:2–5 years of experience in maintenance planning, operations, supply chain, or a reliability-focused role.Experience in maintenance planning, preparation, and scheduling.Good understanding of supply and inventory management processes.Experience working with a CMMS and/or maintenance planning and scheduling software.Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to plan ahead and manage multiple priorities.Good reporting, data handling, and basic computer skills.Understanding of workflow management and maintenance work prioritization.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Maintenance, Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain.Experience with TPM, reliability, or continuous improvement practices is an asset.Application Closing Date: August 28, 2026Please mention the word **UNABASHEDLY** and tag RMmEwMTo0Zjk6YzAxMzo3ZjU5Ojox when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMmEwMTo0Zjk6YzAxMzo3ZjU5Ojox).
