Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development of next-generation multimodal and generative AI systems. You will work across the full lifecycle — research, experimentation, training, optimization, deployment, and monitoring — to build models that understand and generate content across text, images, and audio. This role exists at the cutting edge of applied AI, ideal for someone eager to push boundaries and deliver production-ready multimodal systems in collaboration with cross-functional engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy multimodal AI systems across text, image, audio, and cross-modal retrieval/generation use cases.

  • Implement, fine-tune, and optimize modern generative architectures including Diffusion Models, Transformers, and GANs.

  • Collaborate with research, product, and MLOps teams to translate state-of-the-art research into scalable production applications.

  • Architect and manage end-to-end ML pipelines including data processing, training, evaluation, serving, and monitoring.

  • Develop and apply model-adaptation techniques such as LoRA, P-Tuning, and full fine-tuning to customize foundation models.

  • Optimize models for inference through quantization, pruning, distillation, and compilation to improve performance and cost efficiency.

  • Conduct rigorous experiments and maintain reproducibility standards for models, datasets, and pipeline components.

  • Stay current with emerging research and propose innovative approaches to improve multimodal system performance.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of machine learning engineering experience, including 1+ year specifically in generative AI or multimodal systems.

  • Strong practical experience with multimodal models (text-to-image, image-to-text, cross-modal retrieval, etc.).

  • Deep expertise in either computer vision or NLP with readiness to work across modalities.

  • Hands-on experience with generative model architectures: diffusion models, transformer-based models, or GANs.

  • Expert-level Python skills and extensive experience using PyTorch and the Hugging Face ecosystem (Transformers, Diffusers, Accelerate).

  • Experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production, including serving, scaling, and monitoring.

  • Experience with cloud ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML.

  • Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and experimentation skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse teams.

What We Offer

  • 100% Remote Work: Enjoy the freedom to work from the location that helps you thrive. All it takes is a laptop and a reliable internet connection.

  • Highly Competitive USD Pay: Earn an excellent, market-leading compensation in USD, that goes beyond typical market offerings.

  • Paid Time Off: We value your well-being. Our paid time off policies ensure you have the chance to unwind and recharge when needed.

  • Work with Autonomy: Enjoy the freedom to manage your time as long as the work gets done. Focus on results, not the clock.

  • Work with Top American Companies: Grow your expertise working on innovative, high-impact projects with Industry-Leading U.S. Companies.

Why You’ll Like Working Here

  • A Culture That Values You: We prioritize well-being and work-life balance, offering engagement activities and fostering dynamic teams to ensure you thrive both personally and professionally.

  • Diverse, Global Network: Connect with over 600 professionals in 25+ countries, expand your network, and collaborate with a multicultural team from Latin America.
