Your Mission:
As a Working Student in our Legal team, you’ll support a wide variety of legal and compliance work that underpins Hawk’s global operations. From contract review to regulatory research and legal operations, you’ll gain practical experience across commercial law, fintech regulation, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a great opportunity for a motivated law student to develop hands-on skills in a fast-moving SaaS environment while contributing to impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
AI & Tool Optimization, Implementing and optimizing AI-driven tools to enhance smart contract support and commercial agreement workflows.
Legal Engineering, level up internal documentation and process checklists by utilizing AI tools and prompt engineering.
Legal Ops & Coordination, supporting cross-functional projects through modern legal ops frameworks.
Support digital contract workflows by reviewing, drafting, and organizing commercial, vendor, and partnership agreements, while helping to implement and optimize AI-driven tools.
Assist with legal research across areas such as financial regulation, AML/Compliance, data protection, corporate law, and employment law.
Help maintain and level up internal legal documentation, templates, and process checklists, using modern tools, utilizing AI research tools and prompt engineering .
Support regulatory and compliance activities, including monitoring changes in regulations and updating internal stakeholders.
Participate in cross-functional projects, assisting Legal in collaborating with teams such as Sales, Product, People, and Finance.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled (and available for at least the next 6 months) in a law degree program.
Strong interest in AI, tech, legal operations, fintech, or compliance regulations (AML, data protection, financial regulation).
Ability to visualize and document legal processes to help the team identify inefficiencies.
Strong English skills (C1 or above); German skills are a plus and helpful for reviewing documents.
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle multiple tasks reliably.
Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and asking questions proactively.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Reliability and discretion when handling confidential information.
