Michael Sullivan & Associates LLP is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant with workers' compensation experience to join our team in Ontario. The Legal Assistant maintains a close professional relationship with attorneys and manages their day-to-day activities.JOB SUMMARYThe Legal Assistant:provides administrative and clerical support to one or more attorneys and the Office Supervisor;prepares correspondence and simple to moderately complex legal documents;schedules medical appointments;proofreads documents for spelling and grammar;organizes and maintains files;screens telephone calls and visitors;reads and responds to mail.Skills & ExperienceRequirements:ABA-approved paralegal certificate OR Bachelor's Degree;at least two years of workers' compensation experience;strong written and oral communication;highly organized;MS Word proficiency;type 50 wpm;demonstrable ability to maintain confidentiality.ABOUT USMichael Sullivan & Associates LLP is a cutting-edge law firm that provides high-quality litigation defense for the Workers Compensation industry.
