About the Role:
Hims & Hers is seeking a dynamic Learning Manager, Compounding, to oversee training initiatives related to compounding operations. As a Learning Manager, you will be a champion for a strong training and learning culture; responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive learning programs that ensure all employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for success in our compounding pharmacies and facilities. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder collaboration to execute effective training programs in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment.
The Learning Manager, Compounding will drive operational excellence through effective onboarding, compliance training, and continuous development initiatives while maintaining rigorous documentation standards. This position will play a critical role in supporting our operational teams across multiple departments.
You Will:
Develop, implement, and oversee training initiatives for onboarding, compliance, SOP adherence, and continuous employee development in a compounding pharmacy environment.
Maintain accurate training records, track completion rates, and ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Collaborate with operations stakeholders to identify training needs, develop engaging learning solutions, and drive continuous improvement in training programs.
Lead Train-the-Trainer programs to empower subject matter experts and supervisors to deliver consistent and effective training across shifts.
Maintain and update training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and multimedia content, ensuring they are up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.
Coordinate and leverage internal audits of on-site training programs to ensure they meet company and industry compliance standards
Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to assign, track, and report on training completion and effectiveness.
Partner with Operations, Quality, Compliance, Safety, and HR teams to align training programs with business goals and operational needs.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to training completion, employee performance, and retention to assess training impact and make data-driven improvements.
Foster a culture of continuous learning by implementing career development programs, coaching initiatives, and skill-building workshops.
Conduct remediation training as needed to address performance gaps or compliance issues.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Education, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum requirement of CPhT certification.
3+ years of experience in training and development, with proven experience managing and administering comprehensive learning programs
2+ years of experience in compounding operations within a 503a, 503b or manufacturing.
Strong understanding of compliance training requirements and good documentation practices in regulated industries. Strong knowledge of USP <797>, <795>, and <800>, and cGMP regulations is a plus.
Demonstrated experience leading people and managing high-performing teams
Strong stakeholder engagement abilities and demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally.
Experience with LMS platforms for training administration and reporting.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple training programs simultaneously.
Proven experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual training sessions.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and develop others.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant digital tools.
Flexibility to work various schedules/shifts as needed for our 7-day operation.
Demonstrated ability to plan daily/weekly tasks and adapt to competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Strong skills in developing relationships across all levels and functions of an organization.
Skills (Preferred):
Experience with training in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
Knowledge of FDA, DEA, and other regulatory requirements related to pharmacy operations.
Proficiency with Docebo or similar enterprise LMS platforms.
Experience developing blended learning solutions that combine e-learning, instructor-led, and on-the-job training.
Background in performance consulting and needs assessment methodologies.
Experience developing training metrics and dashboards to demonstrate business impact.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and their application in operational environments.
Background in developing and implementing quality management training systems.
Experience with change management methodologies in support of operational changes.
