About the Role:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for end-to-end handling of indirect goods, from receiving inbound shipments to maintaining accurate inventory records. This role combines operational excellence in both receiving and inventory control to ensure materials and supplies are accurately accounted for, organized, and readily available to support operational needs.

You Will:

Receiving Operations:

  • Receive all inbound non-inventory shipments, from small parcels (UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc.) to full truckloads.

  • Inspect and verify deliveries against Purchase Orders, Bills of Lading (BOL), and Order Confirmations.

  • Report and reconcile any shipment discrepancies in coordination with the Inventory Control team.

  • Deliver small parcels to the correct department, team, or individual.

  • Maintain organized and compliant receiving areas in line with SOPs.

Inventory Control:

  • Confirm, document, and record all received goods in ERP and inventory management systems.

  • Perform daily and weekly cycle counts to ensure real-time stock accuracy.

  • Track usage trends, identify non-moving items, and maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Coordinate with Procurement and Receiving teams to streamline inventory control processes.

  • Maintain accurate records for compliance and audit readiness.

Process Improvement & Collaboration:

  • Work cross-functionally with Procurement Specialists, Operations, and other teams to improve SOPs.

  • Suggest and implement improvements in receiving and inventory workflows.

  • Maintain clear and timely communication on inventory levels, discrepancies, and supply needs.

You Have:

  • At least 2 years of clerical, receiving, inventory control, or equivalent experience

  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent.

  • Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, Highjump).

  • Strong understanding of inbound operations, inventory control, and quality management practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
