About The Role
As a the Head of Everfield Finance Center you are responsible for managing the Everfield Finance Center. As we started in 2023 there is a big opportunity to grow the team and manage the expectations of the various stakeholders in a challenging environment where we buy 10 to 15 new Companies a year,. These Companies need to be integrated into our financial eco system.
What You Will Do
Lead and supervise a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to maximize individual and team productivity and development.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance shared services center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services and support to internal stakeholders.
Develop and implement standardized finance processes, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Continuously improve and streamline finance operations, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and automation initiatives, leveraging technology and digital tools to optimize finance operations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of the shared services center, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, providing timely and accurate financial information, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns.
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and other related activities.
Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in finance shared services, and proactively incorporate relevant changes into the operations.
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and assist in the resolution of audit findings and recommendations.
What We Are Looking For
At least 5 years experience in a Shared Service Center with the drive and ambition to make a difference.
Experience within a VC environment is preferable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an international, multi-language setting.
Fluency in English and Polish
Ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation.
Proven people management skills including development and employee satisfaction
Solid knowledge on general accounting and preferably IFRS
General knowledge on accounting systems and related processes, great to have knowledge of NetSuite
