Full Job Description

Why you should join us

Tandem is a generational opportunity to rethink how we bring new therapies to market, and our path to doing so is significantly de-risked – we have:

  • Exponential organic growth: We have product-market fit and are growing rapidly. Tandem supports thousands of new patients every day, is spreading with doctors through word-of-mouth, and works with the largest biopharma companies in the world.

  • An AI-first business model: Our approach is distinctly enabled by AI, but our business gets stronger (not commoditized) as foundation models improve. We are building durability through two-sided network effects that compound over time.

  • Top tier investors: With the traction to support conviction in our model, we raised significant funding from top investors (Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, and Accel) to build an exceptional team of engineers and operators.

Our number one priority is scaling to market demand. We are looking for individuals who are high horsepower, high throughput, and hyper resourceful to help us increase capacity and grow. We move fast and need to move faster.

All full-time roles are in person in New York. You can learn more about working with us in the last section of this page.

About the role

As a GTM Engineer at Tandem, you will build the data infrastructure, integrations, and automation that power Tandem's sales, marketing, and account operations. Your work will be critical to helping more patients receive care — and to expanding our reach and impact in partnership with life sciences companies. You will work closely with product, engineering, and growth teams to automate workflows, improve visibility, and remove friction across how providers adopt and use Tandem.

This is a technical role with broad surface area. You will write production code, build internal tools, ship lightweight integrations, embed AI into how we operate, and collaborate across functions to drive impact. It’s an ideal role for an engineer who wants to stay close to the codebase while contributing directly to our network growth.

This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to "act like an owner" and commit yourself to Tandem's success. If you are low-ego, hungry to learn, and excited about intense, impactful work that drives both company growth and accelerated career progression, we want to hear from you.

If you join, you will:

  • Build the infrastructure that powers network growth - from core GTM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Monday) and AI agents to data integrations and lightweight workflows

  • Develop technical solutions that remove friction across our go-to-market motion, including self-serve flows, activation tooling, and data instrumentation

  • Work closely with product and operations to identify bottlenecks and build tools that unlock faster, higher-quality adoption

  • Embed AI tooling into GTM workflows and evaluate new tools and integrations that can accelerate outbound, GTM intelligence, and follow-up automation

  • Design and run experiments on onboarding and activation flows to optimize conversion and reduce friction

  • Lay the foundation for a go-to-market engineering function over time

We’ll be most excited if you have:

  • Strong programming skills and general Computer Science knowledge

  • Familiarity with GTM automation tooling (e.g., Clay, HubSpot, n8n)

  • Experience driving GTM engineering projects end-to-end, ideally in fast-paced, externally-facing or client-driven environments

  • Strong product instincts — you know what’s valuable, what’s shippable, and how to translate between the two

  • Comfort working with go-to-market and ops teams to solve real user problems

  • Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals

  • High NPS with your former teammates

This is a list of ideal qualifications for this position. If you don't meet every single one of them, you should still consider applying! We’re excited to work with people from underrepresented backgrounds, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
