Better Health is reinventing the $80B home medical supply industry by creating a new kind of medical provider. We bundle peer support, coaching, education, and home delivery of medical supplies into one end-to-end care solution—helping people living with chronic conditions access the right information, products, and support from home.
Since our founding in November 2019, we’ve secured Medicare licenses in 46 states, 11 Medicaid licenses, and national provider contracts with Oscar Health and Humana. Backed by Caffeinated Capital, General Catalyst, 8VC, Bill Ackman, and healthcare leaders including the CEO and President of eHealth, Better Health has achieved rapid growth with virtually no churn.
Now that we’ve reached product-market fit, we’re ready to scale faster with a Growth Marketing Lead who thrives in early-stage environments and can harness AI to build and optimize acquisition and retention programs. Reporting to the Co-founder and Head of Product, you’ll own and accelerate the growth playbook, balancing rapid experimentation with smart automation.
What You’ll Do
Build and execute growth strategies across digital, email, SEO, SEM, social, podcast, and direct channels.
Leverage AI and automation to personalize campaigns, optimize spend, and accelerate test-and-learn cycles.
Run funnel optimization experiments from acquisition through retention, applying startup scrappiness with AI-driven scale.
Collaborate cross-functionally (clinical, product, operations) to forecast growth and align on revenue goals.
Develop AI-enhanced dashboards and attribution models to improve visibility into CAC, LTV, retention, and conversion.
Establish scalable processes by combining early-stage agility with AI-powered workflows (predictive lead scoring, automated lifecycle campaigns, etc.).
What We’re Looking For
7+ years in growth/performance marketing, with a track record of measurable impact in DTC acquisition and retention.
Significant early-stage startup experience, ideally as a first or early marketing hire—comfortable with ambiguity, resourcefulness, and rapid iteration.
Hands-on expertise with AI-driven marketing tools (predictive analytics, personalization platforms, automated campaign management, AI copy/creative).
2+ years in healthcare or another regulated industry preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights and clearly communicate to leadership.
Collaborative leader ready to partner cross-functionally and grow into people management.
