Full Job Description

We're looking for someone who lives and breathes scraping, finding, maintaining, and manipulating data.

You'll scrape, clean, and maintain datasets from public and private sources, then compile the most comprehensive annual report on global wealth migration.

Requirements

  • Strong scraping and data wrangling skills

  • Experience with public data APIs (UN DESA, OECD, World Bank, IMF, Eurostat)

  • Ability to reconcile conflicting sources and methodologies

  • Statistical fluency: time series, demographic modeling, flow reconciliation

  • Rigorous: verify every number, source every claim

  • Experience with AI tools for data extraction and automation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify, scrape, ingest, and clean data from every credible source on migration and wealth flows

  • Maintain unified master dataset with version control, metadata, and reproducible pipelines

  • Track and compare data definitions across institutions, flag gaps

  • Produce visualizations and tables that withstand scrutiny from economists and policymakers

  • Compile annual comprehensive report on migration and wealth flows

  • Continuously discover new data sources and expand coverage

  • Deliver clean, well-structured datasets ready for publication
