Full Job Description
DRYFT
Dryft builds intelligent systems that automate complex human decisions in manufacturing operations
We’re a small, talent-dense team with modest roots and a love for the physical world - cars, machines, planes. Our team includes graduates from Stanford, Berkeley, CDTM, TUM, winners of Stanford TreeHacks, recipients of Fulbright & Haniel scholarships, and builders of everything from robots and race cars to software with millions of downloads.
We’re backed by the founders and leaders behind Amazon, Facebook, Stripe, Applied Intuition, & others; General Catalyst & Neo, and board members of global industrial companies.
Today, we’re already saving customers millions. But this is only the beginning. ERPs ran the physical world for half a century. Dryft is powering the next.
THE ROLE
As Go-to-Market Lead, you’ll work directly with our CEO to take Dryft to a scalable company.
While you’ll lead Go-to-Market, you’ll operate at the intersection of customers, product, and company-building - traveling on-site to deeply understand customer workflows, meeting with C-level leaders of multi-billion-dollar manufacturers, and helping shape how Dryft grows, operates, and scales.
You’ll do this by:
Owning Go-to-Market - Identify the most promising manufacturing companies for our solution and lead them from first contact through product and business-case discussions to closing, turning early wins into repeatable playbooks for growth.
Jumping in where it matters most - Whether it’s refining pitch materials, helping with hiring, onboarding new customers, supporting fundraising, or unblocking internal processes, you’re hands-on and solve what’s most critical for the company to move forward.
Translating customer insight into product - Work hand-in-hand with our technical team to turn real-world feedback into features and improvements that create measurable impact.
This is a founder-track role with extreme ownership. You’ll work side by side with the founding team, influencing key decisions on strategy, product, and growth.
YOU
Winner’s mindset - you don’t wait for opportunities, you chase them down. You’ll fly across the country to close a deal, walk factory floors to understand the pain, and charm your way through tough rooms until the “no” turns into a “hell yes.”
Builder mindset - you don’t sell features; you solve problems. You dig into technical depth, listen deeply, ask sharp questions, and turn messy realities into scalable systems and products. Ideally you have a technical background.
Hands-on & resourceful - you have a founder’s mindset: you don’t wait for instructions, you make things happen. Whether it’s a customer call, a product test, or a hiring setup, you jump in, find creative ways forward, and get things done.
Ultra-professional & detail-obsessed - you earn trust with structure, polish, and docs so clean that even a CFO would shed a tear.
Down-to-earth & relatable - you bond with shop-floor operators as easily as with boardroom execs, build trust and lasting relationships.
Fluent German & English speaker - our customers are global, and you’ll move between San Francisco, the US Midwest, Mexico and the heart of German manufacturing.
1-4 years of experience in a commercial or operational role; prior consulting experience is beneficial, though not required.
