About the Role
We are looking for an outcome-oriented Forward Deployed Engineer to deeply partner with our most strategic customers to help solve their identity-centric operational challenges and build cutting-edge identity solutions. In this role, you’ll wear many hats — leveraging your technical expertise across solution design, customer integrations, and full-scale implementations. You’ll embed directly with account teams and bring insights back into the product teams by being hands-on with every aspect, from initial design, through successful deployment, to large-scale expansions.
What you'll do at Persona
Embed into account teams working with strategic customers, serving as a technical thought partner in designing custom identity solutions
Use Persona’s platform to solve customer problems and bring customer insights back to product teams to inform and influence long-term product roadmap.
Design, build, and deploy custom integrations between Persona's platform and customer systems
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, proactively monitor integration health, and implement enhancements to existing deployments
What you'll bring to Persona
An engineering background in technical fields such as software engineering, data science, or mathematics.
Strong investigative and debugging skills on complex systems, ideally with integrations spanning both internal and external systems
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
Curiosity, creativity, and a drive to solve hard, open-ended problems
Nice to have
Technical expertise in writing scripts and developing automation tools to solve recurring problems
Familiarity with deployment models, including cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) and/or infrastructure primitives
