Job Summary
The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) is responsible for the technical success of our most critical AI implementations. You will bridge the gap between core AI infrastructure and the bespoke needs of the largest users. You are part software engineer, part architect, and part field-ops, tasked with ensuring AI capabilities solve real-world problems at scale.
Responsibilities
Implementation: Work with small teams to deploy and adapt AI solutions for specific clients or industries, ensuring the API fits their workflows.
Architecture & Standards: Ensure final deployments follow internal standards for security, data privacy (PII masking), and LLM cost control.
Tool Development: Identify repeated client requests and build internal libraries, SDKs, or tools to automate those tasks for the engineering team.
Technical Analysis: Partner with Product Managers to run technical deep dives with users and identify pain points that standard metrics may miss.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
Professional experience with Python, Node.js, and modern AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or AutoGPT).
Deep understanding of vector databases, embedding models, and the nuances of prompt engineering (few-shot, CoT, etc.)
Ability to navigate complex enterprise auth (OAuth, SAML) and integrate with disparate data silos (SQL, NoSQL, ERPs).
Experience building evaluation frameworks to measure LLM performance, hallucination rates, and latency.
What We Offer
100% Remote Work: Enjoy the freedom to work from the location that helps you thrive. All it takes is a laptop and a reliable internet connection.
Highly Competitive USD Pay: Earn an excellent, market-leading compensation in USD, that goes beyond typical market offerings.
Paid Time Off: We value your well-being. Our paid time off policies ensure you have the chance to unwind and recharge when needed.
Work with Autonomy: Enjoy the freedom to manage your time as long as the work gets done. Focus on results, not the clock.
Work with Top American Companies: Grow your expertise working on innovative, high-impact projects with Industry-Leading U.S. Companies.
