About the role

As we prepare for significant growth, we are now looking for a Finance and Revenue Associate to own and scale our financial processes with main focus on the billing and revenue process. This role will be responsible for billing operations, revenue recognition, automation of revenue flows, and to use that knowledge to further leverage other finance processes.

This is a high-impact, hands-on, role in the Finance team, working closely with Head of Finance, the outsourced accounting as well as the Commercial teams.

We are looking for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, has a tendency to not just be fascinated by, but to actually test new tools and ways of working and that can bring finance and/or accounting knowledge as a solid foundation. What you will do

Revenue & Billing Operations

  • Hands-on managing the end-to-end billing processes in a multi-market setup

  • Ensure invoice accuracy across markets and currencies

  • Design, optimize and maintain automated billing workflows between billing platform, ERP, and payment systems

Revenue Recognition & Reporting

  • Manage deferred revenue, accruals and reconciliations in accordance with Swedish GAAP

  • Enable necessary reporting related to revenue, VAT etc.

  • Support monthly closing and audit processes

Finance Operations

  • Bring your knowledge in Finance, and curiosity in tech, to support system implementation projects

  • Support daily ad-hoc tasks within Finance

What you will bring

  • Financial literacy: You know and understand accounting rules and regulations, daily ways of working of an accounting team, reconciling and closing books. You are familiar with multi-market VAT and know how ERP systems work.

  • Tech-savvy process builder attitude: You always think how processes can be automated and leveraged using the latest technology. Have you used Lovable, Claude Code or similar, professional or private, you will probably thrive in this role

  • Structure: You document and structure your work so that it’s easy for others to follow and audits to run smoothly.

  • Calm and stability in ambiguity: Finance in a scale up is a fine balance between fast pace, changing priorities and demands on accuracy. You thrive in that dynamic.

  • Experience: 3+ years in Finance functions or consultancy in, or working closely with, accounting or financial control.

Bonus

  • Experience from SaaS companies and/or start/scale up

  • Experience from building and managing billing for invoice, dunning and reveneue recognition

  • Experience from billing systems like Stripe, Nue etc.
