Council Capital is launching an EIR search and seeking a commercially minded builder to validate a thesis and lead an acquisition in tech-enabled healthcare services. We are open to a range of leadership profiles—including experienced board chairs, board members, or professionals seeking a CEO path. The precise nature of the EIR role will be tailored according to the successful candidate’s interests and profile.


In this search, we are prioritizing identifying the best available leader, who will then work with us to focus the opportunity. Priority sectors include payments/RCM, specialty EMR, tech-enabled services, and payer-services carve-outs.


What You’ll Do (first 6–12 months, pre-investment)


  • Deal Origination & Diligence: Build a targeted pipeline; qualify, model, and prioritize opportunities; test investment theses with rapid market calls.

  • Thesis to Investment Case: Deliver 1–2 investment memos, including market mapping, unit economics, GTM, organizational planning, and underwriting.

  • Talent & Network Activation: Recruit early leaders; activate your network for sourcing and customer introductions.

  • Decision Discipline: Advance or drop opportunities quickly; keep pipeline momentum even if a front-runner arises.


Post-Investment (months 6–24+)


  • Operate & Scale: Step in as CEO (preferred), senior operator, board member, or board chair based on your leadership path and the needs of the target company.

  • Team Build: Recruit 2–3 A-players within year one; establish an operating cadence and key metrics.

  • Value Creation: Execute the plan, report to sponsors, and prepare for add-ons and scalable go-to-market strategies.
