As our global profile and stakeholder network rapidly expand, we are seeking an Events & Engagement Manager to help shape and elevate our external presence in industry, science, government, media, and among international partners.
Your Mission
As Events & Engagement Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Focused Energy’s participation in conferences, political forums, trade fairs, panels, delegations, executive visits, and other key engagements—ranging from large-scale international events to focused, high-impact meetings.
You will serve as a central coordination hub, connecting communications, government relations, leadership, science, operations, and external partners to ensure Focused Energy is represented with professionalism, consistency, and strategic intent at every touchpoint.
This role blends event management, stakeholder coordination, communications, diplomacy, and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
Drive the end-to-end organization and logistics of all external events and engagements involving Focused Energy.
Organize and manage conferences, trade fairs, panels, networking events, political and investor visits, site tours, and executive delegations.
Coordinate Focused Energy’s presence at national and international conferences and industry events.
Oversee calendars, timelines, event logistics, travel arrangements, and preparation for multiple stakeholders.
Coordinate speaking opportunities, panel participation, exhibition booths, and executive briefings.
Support strategic stakeholder engagement with the Communications and Government Relations teams.
Maintain seamless collaboration between internal teams, agencies, organizers, partners, suppliers, and external institutions.
Ensure all engagements reflect consistent branding, messaging, and professional standards.
Support high-profile visits from governments, industry leaders, investors, and international delegations.
Manage event-related materials, presentations, guest lists, and post-event follow-up activities.
Develop scalable structures and processes to enable effective event management in a fast-growing, international environment.
Help deliver memorable, impactful experiences that establish Focused Energy as a global leader in fusion energy.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, event management, political science, international relations, business, marketing, or a related field.
Several years of professional experience in event management, stakeholder engagement, communications, public affairs, or executive operations.
Proven track record managing complex events and multiple simultaneous stakeholders.
Outstanding organizational, project management, and detail-orientation skills.
Ability to operate confidently in high-level political, scientific, industrial, and international settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Self-driven, structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
Fluency in English is required; fluency in German is strongly preferred.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
