Full Job Description

Airswift is currently seeking an experienced Estimator to support a leading company in the industrial construction and oil & gas sector.This position is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive proposals for maintenance, shutdown/turnaround (TAR), fabrication, installation, and brownfield projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, operations, and project teams to develop commercially viable bids while ensuring compliance with technical, quality, safety, and client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.Conduct quantity take-offs for piping, structural, mechanical, and civil scopes.Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client clarification sessions.Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.Support project scheduling, resource planning, and execution strategies.Contribute to bid reviews, risk assessments, and proposal development.Maintain estimating databases, historical cost records, and benchmarking tools.RequirementsDegree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of experience in estimating for EPC projects, industrial construction, oil & gas, or plant maintenance environments.Experience with shutdowns/turnarounds (TAR), fabrication, installation, maintenance, or brownfield projects.Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ANSI.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software/tools.Experience with MS Project and/or Primavera is preferred.Key SkillsCost estimation and commercial analysisProposal and bid preparationProject planning and coordinationStakeholder managementStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPlease mention the word **CONVINCING** and tag RMmEwMTo0Zjk6YzAxMzo3ZjU5Ojox when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMmEwMTo0Zjk6YzAxMzo3ZjU5Ojox).
