Early Childhood Behavior Technician (Part-Time) – Marion, OH
SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism.
Location: In-home (Marion area)
Hours & Scheduling:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Possibility for additional afternoon hours.)
Status: Part-time (20 hours/week)

Your Role:
Be a Play Leader: Work 1:1 with children in their homes. You aren’t just "monitoring"—you are actively playing, moving, and engaging a child to help them meet their goals.
Teach Through Action: Use creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills.
Data & Collaboration: Collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs to ensure the child is thriving.
Support Families: Build trust with parents through consistent, upbeat communication and in-home support.
Work Environment: This role operates exclusively in the client's home environment. You must feel comfortable working inside client homes and visiting neighborhoods within the assigned Marion territory.
What You Bring:
The "Spark": You are naturally outgoing, energetic, and comfortable being high-energy to keep a child engaged and learning.
Experience: 1+ year of experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required.
Reliability: You must have reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Marion area.
Commitment to Growth: Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (we will help you study and cover the cost!).
Training: Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview.
Job Details:
Part-time: 20 hours/week
Pay: $17–$22/hr
