About the Role

We are seeking a visionary AI/ML leader with strong product expertise who can bridge the gap between cutting-edge machine learning research and real-world product implementation. In this role, you will serve as the public-facing voice of our centralized ML/AI organization while ensuring our AI initiatives deliver tangible business value and exceptional user experiences.

This position is ideal for someone who combines deep experience in machine learning and engineering with exceptional communication skills and a strategic mindset. You will help define our AI strategy, represent our work to various stakeholders, and ensure our products successfully ship and meet market needs.

Responsibilities

• Product Leadership: Drive the development and delivery of AI-powered products from concept to market, with a focus on evaluation metrics and business impact

• Strategic Communication: Serve as the external evangelist for our AI/ML organization—presenting our capabilities, research, and products to customers, partners, conferences, and press

• Technical Translation: Translate complex ML/AI concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with business stakeholders and industry audiences

• Customer Advocacy: Act as a trusted customer proxy, gathering requirements, identifying pain points, and communicating them back to our AI teams

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with applied scientists, research teams, and product managers to align technical capabilities with business objectives

• Market Representation: Represent the organization in customer meetings, industry panels, and technical workshops with authority and clarity

• Product Strategy: Provide input on product roadmaps informed by customer feedback, industry trends, and emerging research

• Team Development: Mentor technical staff on communication best practices and product thinking

Qualifications

• Required:

  • Strong background in machine learning and engineering (8+ years)

  • Demonstrated ability to ship and evaluate AI/ML products in production environments

  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience representing technical work to stakeholders and external audiences

  • Strong understanding of modern ML architectures and applications

  • Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into product value

  • Experience with product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies

• Preferred:

  • Experience guiding AI research or engineering teams

  • Public speaking experience through conferences, presentations, or technical advocacy

  • Familiarity with scaling ML systems in production environments

  • Experience shaping product narratives or influencing product strategy

  • Coding experience in Python or ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) is beneficial but not required
