Full Job Description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that's all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.

Snowflake is growing fast and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We're passionate about our people, our customers, our values and our culture! We're also looking for people with a growth mindset and the pragmatic insight to solve for today while building for the future. And as a Snowflake employee, you will be accountable for supporting and enabling diversity and belonging.

Are you ready to define how the world thinks about data and AI? We're looking for a seasoned product marketing leader to own the go-to-market strategy for Snowflake's platform — the foundation of the AI Data Cloud. This is a high-visibility role spanning governance, security, compute and more where your work shapes how the world's largest enterprises evaluate, trust, and expand on Snowflake.

As the Director of Product Marketing for Platform, you will lead an established team of product marketers responsible for messaging, positioning, competitive strategy, and go-to-market execution across Snowflake's most foundational capabilities. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Field teams to drive market awareness, pipeline, and adoption.

Location: This position is based in Menlo Park, CA or Bellevue, WA.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

· Own the platform narrative: define the overarching messaging and positioning framework that articulates Snowflake's differentiation as the most trusted, performant, and enterprise-grade data and AI platform.

· Drive go-to-market strategy for major platform launches and product milestones — from messaging architecture and launch tiers to sales enablement, analyst briefings, and public-facing content

· Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap priorities based on market signals, competitive dynamics, customer feedback, and pipeline trends

· Enable the field: create and deliver enablement programs, battle cards, objection-handling guides, and technical ROI materials that help sellers win on platform differentiation

· Establish and track key performance indicators for platform GTM programs, using data to continuously improve messaging effectiveness, pipeline influence, and adoption metrics

· Recruit, develop, and retain top PMM talent; set clear expectations, provide direct feedback, and foster a culture of craft, urgency, and high standards within the team

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

· 12+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3 years managing and developing a team of product marketers

· Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, data and AI platforms — with working knowledge of how technical buyers evaluate compute performance, data governance, and security posture

· Proven ability to develop product narratives that resonate with both technical evaluators and executive buyers — from security architects and data engineers to CISOs and CTOs

· Track record of building and executing GTM programs that measurably influence pipeline, accelerate revenue, and drive product adoption

· Executive presence and communication skills: comfortable presenting to C-suite audiences, large field organizations, industry analysts, and press

· Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at the Director level and above across product, engineering, sales, and marketing

· Analytical mindset: ability to interpret pipeline data, adoption signals, and market research to guide strategy and measure impact

· BS/BA required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

· Willingness to travel up to 25% of time
