This is a unique opportunity to shape the voice, strategy, and future of marketing at a fast-moving SaaS company in the legal industry from the ground up.About the RoleWe re looking for a strategic, creative and motivated Director of Marketing & Communications who can craft compelling content and thrive being part of an executive team. You care less about chasing clicks and more about building credibility, consistency, and commercial impact across the customer journey and legal industry. From creating quarterly market reports to speaking at conferences to supporting our sales engine, content creation and messaging will be an essential part of this roleThis role is remote, with some expected travel for conferences and team offsitesRequirementsWhat You ll DoDevelop and own our marketing strategy. Define the roadmap to elevate brand awareness, drive demand, deliver quality content, and support revenue growth.Create and lead content efforts. Utilizing our powerful talent and market intelligence product, write and produce thought leadership content, market reports, web content, and more that speaks to both customers and the broader legal industry.Align with Sales. Partner closely with the sales team to craft campaigns, messaging, and assets that support outbound efforts and convert enterprise leads.Drive conference & event presence. Plan, coordinate, and maximize our presence at key industry events before, during, and after.Strengthen our digital presence. Own and optimize our website, social media, and outbound marketing channels.Build for scale. Select and manage tools, processes, and any external vendors as needed.Who You Are7+ years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within a B2B or SaaS company and / or within a highly specialized industry (e.g., legal, pharma).Deep understanding of content creation and how to drive key insights from powerful data set and platform.Proven track record creating high-quality content that supports brand and revenue goals.Strong collaborator with executive and sales teams, comfortable supporting field needs and tailoring content to drive deals.Clear, confident communicator both in writing and in presentations. Comfortable sharing opinions and input on strategic product marketing direction, but also has a roll up your sleeves approach to the task at hand. Thrives in a lean, high-ownership environment.Familiar with marketing tools like HubSpot. LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or similar.
