Full Job Description
Role:
The Director of Business Growth is someone who has experienced the reality of scaling a company and understands the complexity, tradeoffs, and pressure that come with growth. Most people who thrive in this role have led growth inside a scaling company or built a business of their own and understand firsthand the challenges founders face as companies expand.
In this role, you’ll work directly with founders in boardroom advisory sessions to diagnose what’s really holding their business back and what to do about it. You’ll analyze the business, present a refined growth strategy, and leave the founder with a prioritized execution plan they can immediately put into motion. You’ll also help turn those insights into repeatable frameworks and tools we can apply across our portfolio.
Here’s what you’ll actually do:
Use our diagnostic framework to quickly understand a business, pinpoint constraints, and clarify the highest-leverage path forward.
Review diagnostic pre-work and data to identify root causes, priorities, and the few decisions that will drive outsized results.
Lead boardroom-style advisory sessions where you present refined strategies and translate them into step-by-step execution plans.
Build trusted relationships with founders and leadership teams throughout their engagement—driving clarity, alignment, and follow-through.
Partner with the internal team to codify patterns into scalable assets (playbooks, frameworks, training materials).
Success in this role requires strong business judgment and the ability to recognize patterns across marketing, sales, and operations in companies ranging from $1M to $100M in revenue. You should enjoy working closely with founders to diagnose complex challenges, clarify priorities, and shape practical strategies that move the business forward.
Why This Role Matters (for You):
If you’re hungry to grow - this is your shot.
You’ll get exposed to dozens of real businesses per month, real problems, and real founders. That means your skill set grows exponentially faster than it would inside a single company. You’ll also build a killer network and get a front-row seat to what’s working (and what’s not) across industries.
More importantly you’ll get to help good entrepreneurs become great. And if you’re someone who finds meaning in that kind of work, you’ll love this role.
If you’re not ready for a fast paced entrepreneurial environment, this isn’t the role for you.

Identify patterns across engagements and contribute to the development of frameworks, tools, and internal knowledge for the Advisory Practice.
Results
Deliver clear, compelling presentations that help founders and leadership teams understand and apply the strategies discussed during advisory sessions.
Contribute to an exceptional experience for founders participating in boardroom sessions, supporting our standard of excellence and maintaining an NPS of 75% or higher.

Help participating companies identify opportunities for meaningful growth and operational improvement.

Strong influencing ability and emotional intelligence, with the ability to build trust and challenge ideas constructively.
Experience leading teams or mentoring others in fast-paced environments.
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments where priorities evolve quickly.

Workshop Schedule Expectations
Our advisory weeks are intentionally high-intensity and fast-paced to drive transformation for our partners. During these sessions, team members are expected to be available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with additional hours often required to support preparation, execution, and debriefs. On average, we host approximately two advisory sessions per week throughout the year.
This pace is not for everyone — and that’s okay. We set this expectation clearly so that only those who thrive in high-accountability, high-impact environments choose to be here.
