This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsSalary range: Rs 1200000 - Rs 1800000 (ie INR 12-18 LPA)Min Experience: 5 yearsLocation: Remote (India)JobType: full-timeWe are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to enhance our CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with GitLab pipelines, Dynatrace monitoring, and migrating on-premises systems to Kubernetes. You ll collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments, improve reliability, and drive automation across environments.RequirementsKey Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment workflows. Configure and optimize Dynatrace monitoring for observability, performance tracking, and proactive incident detection. Lead the migration of on-premises applications to Kubernetes (K8s), including containerization, Helm chart creation, and deployment optimization. Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to ensure seamless integration into CI/CD and production environments. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, or Helm. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD, containers, and monitoring systems to maintain high uptime and performance. Promote DevOps best practices in security, scalability, and automation across teams. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery. Required Skills & Experience 3 6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering. Strong proficiency in GitLab CI/CD (pipelines, runners, automation workflows). Hands-on experience with Dynatrace setup, configuration, dashboards, and integrations. Solid understanding of Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, namespaces, and service management). Expertise in Docker and container orchestration. Proven experience migrating on-premises systems to cloud-native or Kubernetes-based environments. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative team environments. Soft Skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Proactive and self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
