Full Job Description

Development Manager (Centerfield Media Holding Company; Los Angeles, California): Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching. Develop and implement software development strategies and roadmaps. Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable software applications using .NET technologies (e.g., C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Azure). Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Implement and enforce quality assurance (QA) processes to ensure delivery of high-quality software. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues. Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the .NET and software ecosystem. Position supervises: Engineering Intern; Engineer II, Software; and Sr. Engineer, Software.

Salary: $200,970 per year

Education Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Must have experience with the following: .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Azure, ADO.Net); leading and managing a team of software developers; Agile methodologies; cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP); object-oriented programming; writing reusable libraries; concurrency patterns; defining team processes and best practices; MSSQL Server and MongoDB; and CSS and XML.
