About the role:
We’re looking for a full-stack IC Product Design Lead to join our Design team. A ground-floor opportunity in a design-driven company. Join a hyper-collaborative design team and get autonomy, ownership, and significant impact across the entire product. You will evolve our design process, own entire projects, and contribute to the development of a diverse team that champions our users’ voices and ships incredible experiences every day.
What you'll do:
Deeply understand our customers’ needs, business objectives, and state of the industry to imagine & bring to life paradigm-changing experiences.
Establish a high bar for visual polish and intuitive interaction patterns.
Clearly define customer and business problems. Explore broad-to-narrow solutions with thoughtful designs.
Ideate, design, launch and improve products to help advance Collective’s mission.
Work with a cross functional product development team (product managers, engineers, designers, operations, sales & marketing) to ship innovative and well-crafted experiences, for scale
Optimize for execution velocity while maintaining a high quality bar, making tradeoffs between design choices and resources available.
Contribute to growing a robust & refined design system
What you'll bring:
6 - 8+ years of experience as a Product Designer
Demonstrated impact on product strategy and customer experience in previous roles, preferably within Fintech or Consumer Tech.
Outstanding UX capabilities and strong visual design competency, including visual, UI/UX, copy writing and systems-design.
Experience with and a high bar for visual polish and intuitive, simple design patterns.
Passion for turning complex problems into simple & engaging solutions.
Innate understanding of the end-to-end design process - from identifying customer needs and pain points to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
The ability to apply consumer insights and metrics to inform design decisions and influence the product roadmap
Strong systems thinker with the ability to connect the dots across the entire customer journey.
