Our operations team is growing! We’re looking for a commercially driven Data Operations Manager to join our team in London to continue to support the growing demands of the business during a period of rapid growth.

The Data Operations Manager will be responsible for the status of all of our merchant revenue and marketing spend data, ensuring we are extracting in a timely manner to deliver our daily KPI reports, find new opportunities to improve our data processes and support the other teams with any revenue and spend data requests.

We’re looking for someone who is ready to take ownership of our merchant data, leading a team and developing their skills, with the ambition of being the go-to expert on all our merchant data queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the accurate gathering and extraction of required data from various partner systems and databases, adhering to defined protocols and project requirements.

  • Implement improved processes to perform comprehensive checks on collected data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying discrepancies and potential issues.

  • Conduct in-depth tracing of data points across multiple sources to validate information and reconcile any inconsistencies, particularly in complex scenarios.

  • Proactively identify data errors, anomalies, and potential compliance risks, and implement corrective actions in accordance with established procedures.

  • Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records of all data gathering activities, findings, and corrections.

  • Work closely with Data, Engineering, ops and Commercial teams to address complex data issues, receive feedback, and ensure alignment with quality standards.

  • Ensure all data handling and processing activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and project-specific guidelines.

  • Lead the ongoing refinement of data gathering processes and methodologies, sharing insights to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

About You:

  • Previous experience in affiliate marketing or similar data-intensive roles.

  • Proven prior experience working with relevant client systems, enabling immediate productivity without extensive onboarding.

  • Exceptional ability to focus on minute details and identify subtle discrepancies in data.

  • Strong capability to analyse data, trace information, and understand complex data relationships.

  • Ability to proactively spot potential issues and take initiative to resolve them or escalate appropriately.

  • Understanding of the importance of data integrity and compliance in a regulated financial services environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow (and develop) processes

  • Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of Google Products suite (especially Google Sheets)

  • Extensive knowledge of affiliate platforms or equivalent

  • Commercial mindset with a strong understanding of the power of daily data

  • Available for weekend work as part of a wider team rota

  • Quick learner when it comes to onboarding onto new data, automation & CMS systems

  • Last but not least, you’ll have no ego!
