Full Job Description

As a Senior Data Governance professional, you will design and implement data governance frameworks that ensure data quality, security, and compliance, working closely with clients to align governance with data architectures and business needs.

  • Define and implement a data governance strategy that ensures trusted, high-quality, and compliant data.

  • Enable business and analytics teams to make better decisions through well-governed data assets.

  • Act as a key advisor on data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models.

  • Support analytics, data platform, and AI initiatives by ensuring data is reliable, secure, and discoverable.

What We Look For

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related roles.

  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks (DAMA Certification).

  • Hands-on experience with data quality, metadata management, and data cataloging.

  • Example DQ/DG Tool: Allation, Informatica, Anjana, etc.

  • Solid understanding of data platforms, data lakes, and cloud environments.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (business, data, IT, security).

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Ability to translate business needs into governance policies and standards.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.

Advanced degree or certifications in Data Governance / Data Management are a plus.
