We are looking for a detail‑oriented Data Collection Specialist to support our ML team. The person will prepare synthetic ID/passport samples by working with templates in Adobe Photoshop, operating printers and laminators, and organizing the collected image data according to defined procedures.
This position is based on-site at our Budapest headquarters. Despite the nature of the tasks, remote work is not suitable here: the role produces physical synthetic identity documents that must be handled in a controlled company environment, not at a home address. The office also houses shared specialized equipment (printers, laminators, scanners) that the team will use collectively as headcount grows.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Prepare document images in Adobe Photoshop based on provided templates and guidelines.
Print, cut, and laminate synthetic ID and passport samples using various printers, papers, and laminators.
Capture outputs using scanners and cameras (scan, re‑scan, and photograph printed documents as instructed).
Perform basic data preprocessing: file renaming, cropping, quality checks, and format conversions according to SOPs.
Organize and upload collected data to the designated storage (folders, buckets, labeling schemes).
Maintain accurate logs of each generated batch (printer used, media type, settings, date, operator).
Coordinate with the Data/ML team to follow data collection protocols and resolve issues or ambiguities.
Perform regular basic maintenance checks on printing and laminating equipment (paper, ink/toner, cleaning).
WHAT YOU’ll BRING:
Basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (layers, text, export, simple edits).
Basic knowledge of office software (e.g., Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets) for logging and reporting.
Ability to operate printers, scanners, and office equipment; willingness to follow technical instructions.
High attention to detail and accuracy when handling visual data and filenames.
Ability to follow step‑by‑step procedures and document work clearly in English.
(AMAZING IF YOU ALSO HAVE):
Prior experience with data entry, print shop work, DTP, or similar operational roles.
Basic understanding of file formats (JPG/PNG/PDF) and image resolution (DPI).
