Full Job Description

Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $400B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.

About the role

Dandy is hiring a Country Lead to lead our expansion into Canada. This is a builder's role: you'll take the launch playbook we've prepared, adapt it to Canadian realities, and turn a new market into a growing, self-sustaining business.

You will be the source of truth for what's happening in Canada, continuously refreshing your read on customers, sales, and the market, and turning those signals into action. The role sits within our Go-to-Market (GTM) organization to stay anchored to Dandy's broader go-to-market motion. You'll interpret and apply the company's strategy to the Canadian context rather than setting strategy in isolation.

Because Canada is a new market, this role is designed to incubate it and help it grow into a permanent market long term, and manage the day to day to ensure success.

What you'll do

Drive the market

  • Own the health and growth of the Canadian market end to end, translating Dandy's short and mid-term strategy into the right local moves.

  • Define the market entry model for Canada from the ground up, including the strategic framework to build a self-sustaining market.

  • Ideate and act on what you're seeing on the ground — spotting opportunities and gaps, then deciding what to do about them.

  • Serve as the single source of truth for questions about Canada, coordinating across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product.

  • Serve as Dandy’s internal authority on the Canadian market, providing expert-level guidance to executive leadership on market entry, growth, business operations and scaling decisions.

Report to leadership

  • Constantly refresh your understanding of the market through data, customer conversations, and frontline feedback.

  • Track performance and surface insights that inform decisions across the business.

Champion the customer

  • Be the voice of the Canadian customer, gathering and synthesizing feedback into clear signals for the team.

  • Ensure customer advocacy and post-sales support (in both English and French) plug cleanly into Dandy's existing infrastructure.

Sustain the sales motion

  • Partner closely with Sales to maintain continuity and momentum of the sales motion post-launch.

  • Support talk tracks, TAM definition, and the fit between Canadian selling and Dandy's existing sales systems.

Steward the launch and beyond

  • Carry the October launch through to a steady state, then keep building — owning Canada market management as a full-time responsibility.

  • Ensure launch workstreams across Sales, Marketing, EPD, and Operations land and stay coordinated as the market scales.

  • Own the on-going operational success of the Canadian market, serving as an internal authority for scaling the business.

What we're looking for

  • Experience launching, managing, or growing a market, region, or business line — ideally with general-manager or country-lead scope.

  • A strong operator who interprets and applies strategy pragmatically, and is comfortable owning ambiguity in a brand-new market.

  • Cross-functional coordination skills — able to be the connective tissue across Sales, Marketing, Product/EPD, and Operations.

  • Data-fluency: you instinctively refresh your read on the market and let evidence drive your decisions.

  • Deep customer empathy and a talent for turning frontline feedback into action.

  • Familiarity with the Canadian market and its commercial and regulatory nuances; bilingual (English/French) strongly preferred.

  • Comfort operating within a broader GTM organization while owning your market.

  • Ability to influence a diverse group of audiences up through the senior leadership level.

Nice to have

  • Background in dental, healthcare, medtech, or B2B marketplaces.

  • Experience standing up operations in a new geography (shipping, billing, compliance, go-to-market materials).
