About the job
This position is needed to support the day to day management and execution of Twilio’s Travel and Event Security Programs. This includes developing and implementing security strategies, managing security processes, conducting risk assessments, and supporting corporate events and global travellers.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Event Security Support - 30%
- Conduct and support thorough event risk assessments.
- Oversee and/or directly participate in developing comprehensive security plans and guidance in support of company events
- Lead and/or support on-the-ground implementation of security plans for events in the EMEA region and other locations as needed
Travel Security Support - 20%

- Conduct and support thorough travel risk assessments.
- Oversee and/or directly participate in developing and implementing travel security logistics in support of company events, business travel, and remote work
- Assist travelers with bookings to high or critical rated countries
- Work directly with the travel risk management provider to coordinate cases, and support overall vendor management
Program Support - 20%
- Develop new processes and tools to support the maturity of the Event and Travel security programs
- Support regular updates to safety and security protocols, standards, and policies
- Generate metrics and trend reporting for senior management
- Maintain and update events calendar and other support tracking tools
- Remain on-call and available to manage security-related emergencies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Health, Safety and Emergency Preparedness - 5%
- Support the health and safety risk assessment and mitigation planning process for corporate events and travel, to include direct engagement with the Global Health and Safety Manager
Executive Protection Support - 5%
- Support the Executive Protection program during high-visibility events and travel
Stakeholder Coordination - 20%
- Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders such as HR, Legal, Risk, Marketing, law enforcement, and key vendors to ensure alignment with company policy and risk appetite

Required:
- 5+ years of experience in the physical security discipline
- In-depth knowledge of physical security standards, risk assessment methodologies, and risk management strategies
- Experience developing and implementing safety and security plans for events
- High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential information
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with a diverse team and cross-functional departments to find common ground and viable solutions to complex problems in a highly collaborative environment
- Capacity to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
Desired:
- Experience in corporate travel risk management
- Existing network of security and law enforcement professionals within the EMEA Region
- Experience working within a global organization with a workforce that includes remote employees
- Knowledge of executive protection practices and strategies
- A ‘customer-focused’ mindset with strong business acumen and strategic influence
- Experience managing third party vendors
Location
This role will be remote, and based in Ireland
Travel
