About SavvyNomad SavvyNomad helps Americans living abroad stay connected to the U.S. financial and legal system, pay less in U.S. taxes (legally and compliantly), and stay organized, so they can live abroad with peace of mind and more money in their pocket. We do this by building simple, reliable solutions paired with fast and empathetic customer support. The role (why we re hiring) We have momentum with a YouTube channel, an existing production setup, and a strong creator. Now we want to expand beyond one creator and scale output across multiple creators and formats without sacrificing quality, accuracy, or brand consistency. This is a video-first role (long-form YouTube + short-form). Newsletter/blog experimentation is a plus, but video is the priority. What you ll own 1) Multi-creator scaling

Help identify, recruit, and onboard additional creators (freelance/influencers/partners/collabs) Build playbooks so new creators can ship quickly and consistently (topic selection, briefs, scripting guidance, brand voice) Maintain consistency across creators while preserving each creator s on-camera style

2) Content strategy + programming

Translate company priorities into a clear content strategy: pillars, series, formats, and a scalable content calendar Own ideation and prioritization (what we make next and why), including experiment planning Ensure content stays aligned with our mission and audience: Americans abroad

3) Production operations (async-first)

Own the end-to-end operating system: brief scripting support recording coordination review publish distribution post-mortem Set up lightweight processes and documentation to keep production moving with minimal meetings Drive quality control for clarity, accuracy, brand voice, and viewer experience

Important note

Our current creator manages the editing agency and thumbnail designer. You will collaborate closely with the creator, but your primary ownership is scaling the creator network + content system, programming, and outcomes.

4) Performance + experimentation

Run systematic experiments across topics, formats, hooks, packaging, cadence, and series Use YouTube Studio and simple reporting to identify what s working and why Turn insights into action: improve titles/thumbnails feedback loops, openings, pacing, structure, and repurposing

5) Repurposing and distribution

Create a repeatable repurposing workflow: long-form multiple short-form clips Support distribution strategy across platforms as relevant (Shorts first; others optional)

What success looks like (first 60 90 days)

A documented, repeatable pipeline that works well asynchronously Consistent publishing cadence for long-form + shorts that s sustainable At least one additional creator onboarded (or a clear pipeline + process ready to onboard) A monthly experimentation rhythm with clear hypotheses, results, and decisions Noticeable improvements in content consistency, performance stability and new customers attributed to content

Who you are

Autonomous: you take ownership, unblock yourself, and deliver without constant supervision Async-native: strong writing, clear updates, great docs, and calm execution across time zones Process + taste: you can build systems and also recognize what makes content good High standards, low drama: direct feedback, clear expectations, strong follow-through

Requirements

3+ years in a content manager / producer / content ops role with meaningful video responsibility Experience scaling production (cadence, systems, multi-stakeholder workflows not just made some videos ) Strong YouTube fundamentals: hooks, retention, pacing, packaging, series thinking Excellent written and verbal communication in English Able to overlap 2 4 hours/day with US Eastern time
