About the role:

We are seeking an Audio Visual (AV) Administrator to help build, configure, and maintain Replit’s conferencing and audio visual infrastructure at Replit’s Foster City, CA office and future offices throughout the United States. The successful candidate will also support the technical needs of Replit’s social media team’s livestreaming, podcasting, and online media programs. You will be the subject matter expert and primary owner of all conferencing and shared meeting spaces across our offices. You oversee the operations of Zoom Rooms alongside our specialized multimedia and large-scale gathering areas.

What You'll Do

  • Configure, maintain, and continuously monitor over 100 conferencing spaces ensuring maximum uptime and excellent user experience

  • Deploy and troubleshoot conferencing hardware based on Neat and comparable hardware ecosystems

  • Oversee AV operations for event spaces. Manage and operate audio/video setups for company-wide All-Hands meetings ensuring high-quality broadcasts

  • Administer and maintain AV control systems, DSPs, amplifiers, microphones, and content distribution systems

  • Support hardware and software associated digital signage and digital content distribution

  • Assist in the technical maintenance and setup of specialized studio spaces dedicated to live streaming, podcasting, and video editing

  • Conduct regular sweeps and health checks of all AV equipment.

  • Serve as subject matter expert and escalation point for AV-related IT tickets

  • Create user guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to train staff on how to operate rooms and equipment

  • Work with project managers, integrators, vendors and Replit teams to manage design, upgrades and spec new room builds as we continue to expand

  • Partner with Replit’s Workplace Experience team to ensure optimal usage of meeting spaces

  • Provide white glove support in Executive conference spaces and customer briefing center

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of dedicated experience in enterprise AV and AV integration preferably within a high-growth SaaS startup environment

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Zoom Rooms including architecture, management and backend configuration

  • Strong familiarity with modern conferencing hardware. Direct experience with Neat is highly preferred but experience with Logitech, Poly or similar platforms is acceptable

  • Proven experience working with DSPs and control systems such as Q-Sys, Crestron or Biamp in a corporate environment

  • Understanding of AV-over-IP, Dante and basic networking concepts as they relate to AV hardware deployment

  • Working knowledge of live streaming workflows, podcasting audio setups, and video editing hardware requirements

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience administering Google Meet Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms

  • Background in theatre, musical performance, road crew member or technical director a plus

  • Active Replit user and passionate about making software creation more accessible

This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
