Role Description
This role involves collaborating with a leading AI lab on a groundbreaking new project focused on developing and evaluating advanced AI systems designed to reason through complex mathematical problems.
Contribute mathematical expertise to the design and evaluation of AI-generated reasoning and solutions
Review AI outputs on challenging mathematical tasks for accuracy, rigor, and logical soundness
Provide structured feedback on clarity, reasoning depth, and problem-solving approach
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to refine model reasoning and performance
Qualifications
Strong background in competition mathematics (e.g. AMC, AIME, USAMO, IMO, or Putnam-level experience)
Deep understanding of problem-solving in algebra, combinatorics, number theory, and geometry
Excellent logical reasoning and written communication skills
Background in mathematics, computer science, physics, or related field (high school, undergraduate, or graduate level welcome)
