Full Job Description

The Role

The Intern will work closely with teams under Commercial (Account Management teams, Sales team, and Strategy & Planning team). The role will focus on supporting data analytics and tracking of initiatives from commercial priorities. The nature of the initiatives and projects is to drive performance management for the business in SG as well as any strategic projects. The objective of the Commercial team is to drive direct topline revenue. We manage the partnership with our Restaurant and Grocery partners. Using data-driven insights and our Deliveroo-created tools, we help our partners increase their revenue and improve their operations on our platform.

As part of the Commercial Team you will be responsible for:

  • Collecting, compiling, organizing and analyzing data on restaurants and consumers to help drive data-driven decisions.

  • Build dashboards, trackers and/or models to facilitate performance management and operational excellence.

  • Supporting the Account Management team in managing enquiries/requests from partners

  • Working with cross-functional departments to drive business growth

  • Ad-hoc tasks relevant to the Commercial team’s requirements

Requirements

  • An interest in food is great here. It’s a place to unleash the foodie in you

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills are required

  • Experience in programming languages SQL, Python, etc and data dashboards and/or data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with tools like Canva will be a plus but not mandatory

  • Need to commit for 6 months
