Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled CO2 Machine Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CO2 machines and ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate operation of machinery in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining CO2 machines, while adhering to all safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor CO2 extraction equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality output.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on CO2 machines to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Troubleshoot machine issues and perform corrective actions as necessary to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
Record and document machine performance, production output, and maintenance activities accurately.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to cGMP standards.
Follow operational procedures and guidelines to achieve optimal machine performance and product quality.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production and resolve any technical issues.
Assist in cross training and providing guidance on proper machine operation and safety practices.
Monitor and record CO2 levels to ensure all machines are operating within specified parameters.
Perform quality control checks and adjust as needed to meet product specifications.
Assist all other departments and perform tasks as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CO2 Machine Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
In-depth knowledge of CO2 machine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair machine issues.
Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and report any issues or concerns.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, if required.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in machine operation is a plus.
Forklift certification or other relevant certifications.
Basic knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
Previous experience in a food, beverage, or chemical production environment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb to perform duties.
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary, following company and OSHA safety guidelines.
All duties to be performed with, or without, reasonable accommodation.
Hours are 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday-Friday
Environmental Working Conditions
Employees in this role will work in office, production and warehouse environments. The work areas are semi–climate controlled, which means temperatures may vary depending on seasonal conditions. Employees may be exposed to fluctuations in heat or cold, moderate noise levels, and moving production equipment. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
Relocation
Relocation assistance is available for candidates with experience in CO2 extraction process or other botanical extraction production
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
