ResponsibilitiesWorking within the commercial cleaning retail sector you will be responsible for a range of cleaning tasks, these responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: General cleaning of the retail site; Collection of waste from designated waste stations; Maintaining wet floor areas, including common areas and toilets; Implementing wet weather procedures / displaying wet floor or hazard signage / report hazards and incidents / implementing spillage procedures; Comply with hygiene policies and procedures / comply with infection control policies and procedures; Reporting of any maintenance requirements; Ensuring all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly; Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained.To ensure success in this role we anticipate that the successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Experience working in a high paced environment – retail cleaning; Previous window cleaning experience; A good eye for detail; Excellent oral and written communication skills and confidence in communicating with people from diverse backgrounds; Customer service experience, working with the general public; Machinery experience (ride-on scrubbers, ride-on sweepers, buffers etc); Reliable, punctual and well presented; Ability to work alone and part of a team; Flexible full-time/part-time shifts available – day, evening and weekends; Own transport preferred as public transport is limited; Must have current police check;Please mention the word **ASTOUNDING** and tag ROjox when applying to show you read the job post completely (#ROjox).
