Timezone: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
Compensation: $1,500 to $3,000 monthly (depending on experience)

Our client is a growing, vertically integrated real estate development and construction company managing projects from concept through completion, with a focus on self-storage, industrial, and multifamily developments.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Professional Engineer with strong civil site design and drafting skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater design, earthwork calculations, and construction plan preparation. The role also includes architectural drafting, quantity takeoffs, estimating support, and coordination with contractors and project teams
Key Responsibilities
Prepare civil site plans for self-storage, industrial, and multifamily projects in compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
Develop grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater, and utility plans from boundary surveys and topographic maps
Perform drainage, detention/retention, and cut-and-fill calculations.
Apply value-engineering principles to reduce sitework and construction costs.
Prepare quantity takeoffs and assist with project estimating.
Create floor plans, building layouts, elevations, and basic renderings for mixed units in both self-storage and industrial projects.
Assist with contractor bidding, bid comparisons, permitting, and project coordination.
Provide schedule updates and support multiple active projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
3–5 years experience in civil engineering with a focus on site design, building plans, and coordination with U.S. Contractors.
Demonstrated experience with grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; Civil 3D experience preferred.
Familiarity with HydroCAD, StormCAD, or similar software is a plus.
Strong understanding of U.S. engineering standards and construction practices.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
