ABOUT THE ROLE

Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to support our team. We are a fast-growing entrepreneurial team working at the convergence of technology and national security. The work will be dynamic and wide-ranging with business development supporting the deployment and scale of our Game Warden platform.

Sitting under the Commercial Growth department and reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating qualified pipeline for our Account Executive teams. The Business Development Representative will primarily support outbound efforts towards their aligned books of business. 2F is a fast paced, mission driven, and demanding environment where your expectation is to make an immediate and lasting impact.

Note: This role requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements. Additionally, candidates must reside in one of our approved hiring hubs:

  1. DC/Maryland/Virginia

  2. Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC

  3. Denver/Colorado Springs, CO

  4. Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

What You’ll Do

  • Generate qualified opportunities for the Account Executive team through both outbound and inbound channels

  • Uncover prospective customer goals and challenges and align them to the problem Game Warden solves

  • Collaborate and partner closely with your aligned Account Executives and cross-departmentally

  • Continually refine and enhance processes based on self-evaluation and managerial feedback

  • Continuously improve your product, industry, and sales knowledge and competencies

  • Meet and exceed sales performance benchmarks through daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs.

Skills You’ll Bring to Our Team

  • 1+ years of experience as a top performing BDR/SDR, Account Executive, or similar sales role

  • A self starter who can work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience with sales tools including Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and Crunchbase

  • Experience supporting a book of business for multiple Account Executives

  • Excellent communication, written, and active listening skills

  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment

  • Team oriented, coachable, collaborative, proactive, accountable, and disciplined

  • Proficiency with cold messaging and calling

  • Have a strong passion in matters of national security

  • Bonus: Experience selling into the Federal Market

  • Bonus: Experience selling a compliance/accreditation solution to commercial organizations

The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000- $90,000. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, level, and geographic location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity grants as part of the total compensation package.
