Pay: $18-$25 per hour

Job description

Finni is urgently looking for ABA Therapists looking to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work in Mundelein, IL and the surrounding area!

As a Behavior Technician (RBT) you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patient's families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting and in the community, such as a daycare setting

  • Collect and record data on therapy goals

  • Receive weekly supervision from a doctorate-level Behavior Analyst

  • Attend team meetings and trainings as scheduled by your supervisor

What You'll Need

  • Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field

  • Experience working with children (early intervention), and a passion for working with children with special needs

  • Reliable Transportation

  • A think outside of the box personality to make therapy fun for your clients

  • Professional social skills to interact with and support caregivers

  • Active RBT Certification (Preferred, but will train if needed)

  • Active CPR Certification (Required, but will train if needed)

  • Must pass background check (this is a requirement from the funding source)


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

  • Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Preferred)

  • RBT Certification (Preferred) but not required. Must complete 40 hr training prior to first day of work. We will help you!
