Have strong CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and distributed systems
Write high-quality code, value software testing, and uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design

Have experience evolving a startup’s architecture to support mid-size company growth
1 - 5 years of software development experience (Multiple levels - junior/mid)
Productive, resourceful, and effective at problem-solving
Drawn to an early-stage, high-growth startup environment with less stability and more ambiguity
Strong fundamentals with a cloud platform like GCP or AWS
Interested in financial products and/or cryptocurrency
Able to work effectively in a remote setting and able to overlap with our core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM PT
Integrations Core Team
Backend engineers on this team build new blockchain and exchange integrations and enrich blockchain data with DeFi categorization as well as exchange data with exchange-specific nuances. While primarily backend-focused, engineers work closely with the Customer Experience team and directly shape the CoinTracker products through the niche expertise they gain in exchange and blockchain data. If you’re excited about digging into the nuances of blockchain and exchange transactions, building reliable integrations at scale, and influencing the product roadmap through your technical and domain expertise, this is the role for you. You’ll also collaborate with the Assets team, which is responsible for crypto metadata and pricing.

The starting salary for this position is between $121,000 - $175,000 USD. Candidate's location does not impact the posted salary range. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of job-related factors including relevant skills, education, and experience. This position also includes equity in CoinTracker and benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.
