Role: Back End Developer - Node.js / TypeScript

As a Backend Engineer at Hopae, you’ll shape the architecture and infrastructure that drive our identity verification solutions. This is a high-impact role where you’ll design, build, and optimize systems that support millions of users across the globe. If you’re passionate about delivering scalable, secure, and efficient backend solutions, we want to hear from you.

• System Design & Development: Architect and develop backend systems that are robust, scalable, and built to last.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, frontend, and operations teams to create seamless and reliable solutions.

• API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections that enable secure and fast integrations.

• Performance Optimization: Continuously enhance system speed, reliability, and security to ensure a top-notch user experience.

• Code Excellence: Write clean, efficient code with an eye toward scalability and maintainability.

• 3+ years of experience in backend development with strong skills in Node.js and TypeScript

• Proficiency with database technologies like MySQL and MongoDB

• Solid understanding of RESTful API and WebSocket development

• Experience in a high-growth startup or similar fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and Docker

• Interest in digital identity or cybersecurity technologies
