Role Overview
Associate Partners are integral members of our firm’s leadership team, contributing to firm-building efforts while managing 1-2 consulting engagements at a time. Associate Partners provide leadership across multiple dimensions – thought leadership, consulting engagement delivery, client service, business development, and cultural stewardship.
As a member of the leadership team, an Associate Partner is responsible for advancing the firm’s impact by leading the execution and delivery of large, complex consulting engagements, as well as expanding new and potential business opportunities. For Revenue Cycle specifically, Associate Partners should have the ability to structure transformation or implementation to support successful use of Epic and maximizing technology usage to enhance RCM.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of client engagements within Chartis’ Revenue Cycle Transformation Practice, including directing activities of the engagement team, leading the problem-solving process and overseeing team analysis and deliverables
Apply thought leadership to client engagements, generating actionable insights that drive meaningful improvement for the firm’s clients, developing frameworks and approaches with broad potential impact
Build and maintain trust-based relationships with existing and prospective clients, drawing upon healthcare knowledge and insights to surface and discuss issues within and beyond the scope of specific consulting engagements
Structure revenue cycle transformation projects through knowledge of Epic HER revenue cycle capabilities
Act as a coach and mentor to junior staff, rapidly developing their skills and knowledge through an apprenticeship-based development model
Foster collaboration within engagement teams, across practices, and at all levels of the firm
Help maintain a collaborative culture that attracts world-class, passionate, and mission-driven consultants
Qualifications and Desired Skills
At least 10 years working with healthcare providers, including 2+ years managing others
5+ years of experience working in revenue cycle leadership
Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH)
Well-regarded personal brand, a senior consultant who brings a strong and compelling point of view
Intellectual horsepower that drives distinctive consultation to clients and enduring contributions to the firm
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
Superior communicator able to convey insights in a way that motivates clients to action
Outstanding people leader, adept at attracting, motivating, and developing consulting professionals and blending them into high-functioning teams
Motivated and driven; genuinely seeks to materially impact healthcare for the better
Salary range: $178,000-$209,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
