Full Job Description

The Aeronautical Information Service Cadet will assist in ensuring the flow of aeronautical information necessary for the safety, regularity, and efficiency of international air navigation, in accordance with International Civil Aviation Organization standards. This position serves as preparation for training toward certification as an Aeronautical Information Service Officer.Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be required to assist with:Collecting, classifying, recording, editing, and disseminating aeronautical information and Notices to Airmen in accordance with established proceduresCollecting and transmitting messages relating to arrival, departure, cancelled, and delayed flightsDisseminating flight plans to the relevant Air Traffic Service unitsCollecting landing, parking, navigation, late operation, and facilitation fees from aircraft operatorsCollecting, verifying, and completing relevant airline and flight documentation, including General Declaration forms and Movement SheetsMonitoring aeronautical computer systems, including SPATIA and CADAS, and reporting faults or system malfunctionsCompleting shift log books, reconciliation documents, float records, and other administrative recordsPerforming other related duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum Qualifications:Five (5) subject passes equivalent to G.C.E.
