Codent SMB Account Manager
About the Role Dandy is hiring an SMB Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of small-to-midsize dental practices on the Codent platform. This person will be the primary relationship owner for their book of business — responsible for driving retention, expansion, and deep customer engagement across independent practices and small group accounts. You'll lead cross-functional coordination across Training and Operations to deliver a seamless, high-touch experience that keeps practices healthy, productive, and growing with Codent.
What You'll Do
Own a book of SMB dental practice accounts end-to-end — retention, growth, and overall customer health are your responsibility
Build and manage strategic relationships with practice owners and office managers, becoming a trusted partner in their day-to-day operations
Plan and execute account-level and portfolio-level growth strategies to hit retention, expansion, and customer experience targets
Coordinate cross-functionally with Training and Operations to ensure every account receives consistent, high-quality service
Capture actionable voice-of-customer feedback and drive follow-through across internal teams to close the loop
Identify at-risk accounts early using health metrics and engagement signals, and execute intervention playbooks to prevent churn
Become deeply proficient in all Codent product offerings and workflows to serve as a single point of contact for your accounts
Identify process, system, and technology improvements needed to unlock growth and efficiency across your portfolio
Partner with Sales to ensure clean handoffs and smooth onboarding for new accounts entering your book
Contribute to a high-energy, growth-oriented team culture that prioritizes urgency, ownership, and customer obsession
What We're Looking For
3–5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a customer-facing commercial role
Experience in a B2B high-growth tech or SaaS environment with a proven track record of hitting retention and growth targets
Strong relationship management skills — comfortable engaging with small business owners, office managers, and practice staff
Highly organized with the ability to manage a high volume of accounts without dropping the ball
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Data-driven mindset with the ability to use health metrics and reporting to prioritize actions across a portfolio
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and solve problems hands-on when needed
