About the team
The Startups team is dedicated to becoming the platform of choice for the top venture capital-backed startups across Europe. We combine deep subject matter expertise with strong collaboration across the startup ecosystem—partnering with high-potential companies, helping them monetise their products, scale globally, and unlock new revenue streams. As an Account Executive on this team, you'll work across the full sales cycle and have the opportunity to sell Stripe's entire product suite.
What you'll do
In this role, you'll build partnerships between Stripe and the founders of the most innovative and fastest-growing startups across the Nordics, helping them understand how Stripe's financial infrastructure can support their growth ambitions and create a real competitive advantage for their businesses.
You'll identify new opportunities for startups to get the most from Stripe's expanding product suite by thoroughly understanding their needs and advising them on how to leverage best-in-class financial solutions. You'll build and drive campaigns to generate new sales pipeline and work closely with existing users to deepen their adoption of Stripe.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for startup accounts across the Nordics
- Identify and prioritise high-potential prospects from both inbound and outbound sources
- Lead and contribute to Nordic team projects to develop and refine sales strategies and processes, including building engagement with accelerators and VC firms
- Engage cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and User Operations teams to amplify Stripe's growth trajectory in the region

Minimum requirements
- 4+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably at a high-growth SaaS company, bank, consultancy, or venture capital firm, with a track record of top performance
- Strong interest in technology and the startup ecosystem
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, including comfort with basic financial modelling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand diverse business models and build strong relationships with highly technical founders
- Ability to understand complex requirements and craft tailored solutions
