Role
The Account Executive understands GreenChoice s offerings, recognizing their value to clients. They identify sales opportunities by listening to and understanding client needs, and leverage GreenChoice s solutions. The Account Executive is responsible for the full sales cycle; you will build strong internal and external networks to drive lead generation, demos, proposals, closing, and fulfillment.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, is motivated by impact, can work independently, and loves solving complex, real-world client problems.
Responsibilities
Self-starter to proactively prospect the marketplace to expand our client base and drive repeat purchases with occasional buyersLead discovery conversations to uncover pain points and align NielsenIQ solutions with client goalsUse a consultative selling approach to identify client business needs, qualify, probe, scope and sell in GreenChoice servicesApply consultative selling techniques, actively listening and adapting to client feedbackExecute against sales initiatives: attend trade shows, perform cold-call lead generation, conduct marketing campaigns to identify potential clients, qualify and generate sales, and conduct solution demosOwn revenue targets and pipeline visibility. Conduct revenue forecasting on respective client baseExecute end-to-end sales process: lead generation, demos, proposals, closing, and deliveryManage client relationship and sales efforts with recurring ad-hoc clients by promptly answering client questions regarding data quality, service offering and product deliveryHeavy usage of Google Drive Suite and Hubspot to keep track of sales activities, leads, and opportunities
Qualifications
You enjoy fostering and growing customer relationships and working with syndicated data sets and analytic solutions across large matrixed organizations. You seek to educate your clients on various areas across the GreenChoice product suite and are looking to create fully integrated solutions to solve your client s most pressing business issues. You re comfortable with learning, using, and presenting the benefits of the industry s latest personalization and food health technology and data.
3-5 years sales experience in CPG sales, retail/grocery technology, shopper marketing, retail media, or retail/CPG data analyticsHighly proficient in Google Drive software, Apollo.io and Hubspot or similar prospecting tool and CRMStrategic sales and business development competencyConsultative selling within experience across data-driven solutionsSkilled & polished communicator, including client presentationsStrong logic, deductive reasoning, problem solving, and critical thinking skillsAble to maintain positive client relationships in complex situations & resolve client issuesAble to work collaboratively with internal & external teamsStrong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomesEntrepreneurial mindset with a builder mentality ready to shape the future of shopper experiences
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $30,000 $60,000/year.
