This role represents a unique opportunity to help establish Aphex as the leading solution for major construction projects in France, while being supported by a proven, high-performing international team based in London.
Construction accounts for around 10% of global GDP, yet productivity has barely moved in decades. Solving this is a huge challenge and a hugely meaningful one.
The Role
This Account Executive role is designed for a French-speaking construction professional with deep experience delivering projects in France, who now wants to shape the growth of a technology company transforming the industry.
You will be based in our London hub, working closely with our established UK sales and customer success teams, while taking clear commercial ownership of the French market. Following early success in the region, your focus will be on building momentum—developing relationships with French contractors and project teams, deploying Aphex on live projects, and expanding adoption across organisations.
This is a role for someone ambitious and self-directed. We’ve proven the product, the value, and the international expansion model. Now we’re looking for someone to help us scale that success across France.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of French infrastructure and major construction projects, target accounts, and key stakeholders.
Proactively engage prospects through outbound activity, relationship building, and industry networking.
Build and maintain a strong professional presence within the French construction ecosystem (LinkedIn, events, industry forums)
Identify, develop, and progress opportunities within assigned French target accounts
Manage inbound leads related to the French market through the full sales cycle
Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to the realities of French construction projects
Act as the architect of project success during early deployments, supported by the customer success team
Build bottom-up momentum on projects while aligning with senior decision-makers
Negotiate contracts and close deals that create long-term value for customers and Aphex
Collaborate closely with customer success, product, and leadership teams in London
Consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
Who You Are
French Construction Experience → You have 5+ years of hands-on experience working on construction or infrastructure projects in France, with a strong understanding of how projects are delivered on site.
Site-Based Background → You may have worked as an Ingénieur Travaux, Conducteur de Travaux, Chef de Projet, or similar role within a contractor or delivery organisation.
Native or Fluent French Speaker → You can confidently sell, present, and build relationships in French; professional English proficiency is required for day-to-day collaboration in London.
Tech-Curious → You’re motivated by the opportunity to use technology to solve the inefficiencies you’ve experienced first-hand.
